Purchased this Robot Vacuum Cleaner to clean our basement room with vinyl floor. It works great on vinyl, the suction power is enough for daily crumbs and dust, even some small bugs. We also have a thing carpet in the basement, and the cleaner has no problem climb on top of the carpet
