Troubleshooting

Q1.Fail to activcate the robotic vacuum.

  • * Make sure the battery is fully charged.
  • * Replace the batteries in the remote control.
  • * Make sure the remote control is within a range of 5 m/16 ft from the robotic vacuum when controlling.

Q2.The remote isn't working.

  • * Replace the batteries in the remote control.
  • * Make sure the battery is fully charged.
  • * Make sure the remote control is within a range of 5 m/16 ft from the robotic vacuum when controlling.

Q3.The robotic vacuum suddenly stops working.

  • * Check if the robotic vacuum gets trapped or stuck.
  • * Check if the battery is running out.
  • * Make sure you didn't pause the device by mistake.

Q4.Fail to start the scheduled cleaning.

  • * Make sure the battery is fully charged. ( The scheduled cleaning can be started when the remaining capacity of batteries reaches at least 15%)
  • * Make sure you didn't cancel the schedule by mistake.

Q5.The suction power is weak.

  • * Adjust the suction level by pressing  and  on the remote control.
  • * Check if any particles are blocking the suction inlet.
  • * Empty the dust bin and clean the filters.
  • * Replace the Sponge and HEPA filters.

Q6.Making noises.

  • * The robotic vacuum will create noises when operating, which is normal.
  • * If a sharp noise is heard, please check if anything is tangled in the main brush, side brushes, and wheels.
  • * Check if there are objects in the dust bin that could create noises.

Q7.The robotic vacuum cannot be charged.

  • * Make sure the power indicator light on the charging base is lit up.
  • * Check if the charging pins on the robotic vacuum are aligned with the ones on the charging base while charging.
  • * Dust off the charging pins with a dry cloth.

Q8.Fail to return to the charging base.

  • * Remove any objects near the charging base that block the robotic vacuum going back for recharging.
  • * If the charging base is located far away, the robotic vacuum will need more time to return. Please be patient as it works its way back.
  • * Make sure the battery level is not critically low or empty.
  • * Clean the sensors on the bumper of the robotic vacuum and the charging base.

Q9.The main brush cannot work.

  • * Check if the main brush is stuck by objects; If so, remove them and clean the brush.
  • * Make sure the main brush and brush gurad are installed properly.

Q10.The momvements or travel path are abnormal.

  • * Clean the sensors with a damp cloth.

Q11.The cleaning time gets shorter or less than 150 minutes.

  • * The cleaning time may vary from the cleaning mode, suction power level, and the type of floor that the robotic vacuum cleans.
  • * If the robotic vacuum is not fully charged, then the cleaning time will be shorter.

Control the Robotic Vacuum with Amazon Alexa

Something you should ensure before starting:

  • 1.You have connected the robotic vacuum to Thamtu APP.
  • 2.Make sure you've installed Amazon Alexa APP on your mobile device and you've created an account.

To control Thamtu device with Amazon Alexa, follow these steps below:

  • 1.Log in to Alexa APP with your Amazon account, click   in the upper left corner of the homepage, then select Skills & Games.
  • 2.Search "Smart Life" and select it on "Skills & Games", then tap "ENABLE TO USE" to enable it.
  • 3.Enter the account and password for logging in to Thamtu APP, then click "Authorize" to continue.
  • 4.Click "CLOSE" to close the page, then tap "DISCOVER DEVICES" to find the robotic vacuum that has been connected to the Thamtu APP.
  • 5.Please click "SET UP DEVICE" to set up your device after finding the robotic vacuum.
  • 6.Click  and allow Alexa APP to use the microphone of your mobile device.

You could follow the voice commands below with your mobile device, and the robotic vacuum will respond accordingly.

"Alexa, turn on the robot.", If you have changed the device name, please replace "the robot" in the voice command with the name of your device.

Alexa, turn off the robot.

If you have an Echo device at hand, you could follow the voice commands above with the Echo device, the robotic vacuum will respond accordingly.

Control the Robot with Google Assistant

Something you should to ensure before starting:

  • 1.You have connected the robotic vacuum to Thamtu APP.
  • 2.Make sure you've installed Google Assistant APP on your mobile device and you've created an account.


To control Thamtu device with Amazon Alexa, follow these steps below:

  • 1.Log in to Google Home APP and follow the APP instructions to set up your Google account.
  • 2.Click "Settings" on the homepage, then scroll down to the bottom to click “Works with Google”.
  • 3.Click , then scroll down to select "Smart Life"
  • 4. Enter the account and password to log in to the Thamtu APP.
  • 5.Click "Link Now" and "Authorize" it will show that the Smart Life is connected.
  • 6.Follow the instructions to set up the device, and complete all settings, then click and allow Google Home to use the microphone of your mobile device.
